Tonight I took Kelly over to church for her First Reconcilliation (aka – confession).  There were 157 kids going through this with 10 priests strategically planted all around the church.  They do this face-to-face with the priest and are much more prepared than we were as kids.  Kelly was very nervous and chose to go to our priest, since he’s familiar to her.  When she was finished, she sat down beside me and said, “well that was fast!”  I congratulated her on her first step towards receiving First Communion.
