Another Thanksgiving has come and gone and once again, I am very, very full! This year we had an “Italian” Thanksgiving with all the fixings. Nate does most of the cooking for these meals and this year he outdid himself again. The turkey was so incredibly moist with perfect seasoning in every bite. Also at the table was a butternut squash lasagne, chestnut stuffing and of course, mashed potatoes. The Davicks brought a pumpkin cheesecake that was light and fluffy and oh, so tasty for dessert and Jim was in charge of appetizers. He too, outdid himself by making asparagus crustini, spinich & ham pinwheels, and proscuitto-wrapped canalope…..delicious!
After dinner we did something very “untraditional”. Since we will begin construction on our kitchen on Monday, we got out our crayons and everyone took turns drawing all over our walls! We had so much fun and the kids couldn’t believe they could actually do this without getting into trouble. Things will be different next Thanksgiving.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving~ Gobble-Gobble!

Those appetizers were incredible. Who made them again? Guess Who?
