Children’s Festival

Today we went into St. Paul to the International Children’s Festival.  This is held every year in Rice Park, across from the Ordway.  It’s a big arts & crafts fair for kids and has lots of hands-on activities.  Lots of diversity there as well….and people of stilts!  Sue & Tom Lorentz met us out there with Jake & Sammy but they weren’t too interested in the activities just yet.  The music was great.  We heard Reggae, South American Samba, and some boring, sleepy Acapella.  It was a fun way to spend a gorgeous 80 degree day!

  1. A beautiful day, finally! And to see overly large people walking around on stilts? Well, that’s just icing on the cake. It was good to be out and about and culturally diverse, all at the same time. I highly recommend it (mostly to anyone with kids)!
